Outside - to die for! A hill outside the door that was fun for all ages of sledders - and floodlights for night sledding. Lots to do inside (games, books, sound system, karaoke) and even a play area with table, chairs, books and toys for the young ones. The living room had plenty of space for all of us to congregate around the fireplace or to go to a corner for a game challenge or a quiet space. The large, well-stocked kitchen allowed all of us to share in the cooking and cleaning chores. ![]() There was plenty of space for all of us - with room to spare. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. ![]() His love of the lodge was obvious as he shared its history. Michael met us on arrival and gave us a grand tour of the lodge from beds to sleds. “Wonderful weekend stay!” We had a weekend family get-together with a group from ages 2 to 65. I'm already checking my schedule for the summer to try to book again. Not at home, but on a "vacation" with all of the comforts of our own home. Having young children this was the perfect way to spend our new year. ![]() It's difficult to put into writing just how satisfied and thrilled we were to have this rental to bring in the new year. Even though the temperature was in the single digits, we still managed to bundle up and sit on the porch to take in the view for a little while. The porch and the view from the porch was outstanding. ![]() This saved us on money and allowed us to make whatever the kids wanted to eat. Having the ability to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinners was also a huge plus. The kids could go upstairs for bed and we could relax downstairs. having the two floors was perfect for us. She was even kind enough to give us her cell phone number if we needed anything. She provided us with all of the information and resources that we needed. Selfishly, I want it all for myself!
